“Bing Bing” made its debut at CISM  

igniting passion for 7th MWG

The mascot for the 7th CISM World Games, Bing Bing, was revealed at the 73rd CISM General Assembly and Congress. The Chinese sturgeon combined many uniquely Chinese characteristics, and aroused great interest among those present.

A one and a half minute video clip was played, where Bing Bing made an impressive debut. Delegates from 88 member countries of CISM gave a thumbs up to Bing Bing, with many stating that they can’t wait to come to see Bing Bing’s hometown.

Bing Bing was revealed at the 73rd CISM General Assembly and Congress.

There was great anticipation shown towards the final reveal of the mascot, and as the image of this cute little creature appeared, Bing Bing delighted all with his swimming, parachuting, orienteering, shooting and table tennis skills, and won warm applause from his audience. Some delegates were so taken with the mascot that they asked the Chinese delegation for Bing Bing dolls.

A Russian delegate spoke highly of Bing Bing, “Bing Bing strikes me as a Chinese soldier, bringing a feeling of experiencing the sports games. It ignited my expectations for the 7th CISM World Games again.”
