On September 28, the CISM World Games volunteer training program was officially launched. Trainees included persons in charge of volunteer affairs from 34 colleges such as Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Air Force Early Warning Academy, as well as representatives of individual volunteers and volunteer organizations.
The volunteer recruitment, kicked off on April 25, registered more than 25,000 applicants from colleges, military schools and citizens. So far, 11,000 of them have passed the assessment and become volunteers.
The volunteers will receive general courses, professional knowledge, pre-job training and practical exercises to ensure that they provide services in an organized, professional and quality fashion.
It is learnt that the second recruitment will be launched in February-May, 2019, suggesting a total number of 50,000 volunteers.
