At the conclusion of the series of celebrating activities of “One-year Countdown to the Opening” of the 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG), the national “CISM Military World Games in Barracks” media group immediately undertook a trip to the Air Force Bayi Flight Performing Brigade on Oct. 25 for promotional and interviewing work.

It is the fifth stop of the national “CISM Military World Games in Barracks” media group. The previous four visits took the group to the Military Sports Training Center of the CMC Training and Administration Department, Zhu Rihe Blue Army Brigade, a Reserve High-artillery Division in Fujian, and the Special Operations Academy of the Army.

The group visited the Brigade History Archive, watched a promo of the Air Force Bayi Flight Performing Brigade and a video of the open day activities of the Flight Performing Brigade held on Oct. 20. This is a complete rehearsal of the Brigade before travelling to Zhuhai to take part in the 12th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in a few days’ time. Our best wishes for a great performance at the Exhibition!

A 5-meter long banner hangs on one side of the conference hall. Pilots, coaches, technical and ground support staff representatives of the Brigade took turn to sign their names on the banner.

Zhang Lielin, Commander of Flight Performing Brigade Second Branch, is a fellow from Hubei Province. He said in the interview that he was extremely pleased to learn that the CISM Military World Games would be held in his home province. He wished the 7th CWG a great success, and wished great performance by the Chinese military athletes in the event. He also hoped that more people would know that the Chinese Air Force had a heroic and peace-loving flight performing team!

Tao Jiali, Deputy Commander of Flight Performing Brigade Second Branch, will work as a volunteer at the 7th CWG. “The 7th CWG will be a platform to showcase the image of the Chinese army and servicemen. My comrades and I will use the opportunity to promote the Bayi Flight Performing Brigade, and to convey the confidence, spirt and strength of China,” she said.
