After the flight of nearly 12 hours, Boeing 747 Freighter arrived in Wuhan Tianhe International Airport from Liege Airport in Belgium at 9 a.m. on 11th, carrying 29 sport horses. It used 10 containers to transport them by air, ready to prepare for equestrian competition in the 7th CISM World Games. After their arriving in Wuhan, they were transported to Wuhan Business University by 3 large horse carriers at noon.

At 13:30 on November 11th, three horse carriers drove into Wuhan Business University Equestrian Venue, two of which were rented from a horse racing club in Beijing and the other was from the university. The Equestrian Venue would be used for equestrian competition in the 7th CISM World Games, which was completed in October this year by Wuhan Executive Commission in line with international standards.

Sport horse is one of the most significant "equipment" and the earliest "equipment" in place. Besides this herd of sport horses, another herd will be rented from horse racing clubs all over the country for the 7th CISM World Games one month before the opening of the event.

According to reporters of Changjiang Daily in the scene, the stuff sprayed the two horse carriers which were as long as two buses with medicine bucket for disinfection. Then the stuff lowered the back door of carriers down to form a slope. There were dozens of professional grooms, each of whom held a horse down orderly, and then sent them to new stables.

These sport horses looked tall and strong. Although it was extremely cold, they still walked agilely and alertly. When people held the horses to take photos with them, they were not irritated but cooperated tacitly.

According to Li Lin, Party Branch Secretary of International School of Equestrian in Wuhan Business University, it would use 66 horses to prepare for equestrian competition in the 7th CISM World Games. The horses that arrived on 11th were prepared for equestrian competition of the Modern Pentathlon and they were purchased from Belgium, France, Germany and Netherlands respectively. There are farms and clubs specializing in training sport horses for equestrian competition in those countries. Experts of Wuhan Executive Commission and stuff members went to farms of these countries and picked these horses after three rounds of selection.

Li Lin said that racing horses were usually thoroughbreds, with fiery character. However, horses for equestrian competition were warm-blooded, with moderate temper, which could cooperate with riders to do many highly difficult movements. The horses arrived in Wuhan were European warmbloods. Their average height was 1.7 meter, and the height of horse head was more than 2 meters. They can jump was over 1.3 meters. Their average ages were between 7 and 13 years old that were the golden ages for equestrian competition.

It is known that the team responsible for horse breeding and training for the 7th CISM World Games has been in place. More than 20 people have started to work in Wuhan Business University at present, comprising professional grooms, coaches, foreign jockeys and veterinarians. Hadatie, the head coach of the team, has participated in horse selection in Europe and purchased forage in the Hulunbuir Grassland in Inner Mongolia.

When 29 sport horses entered stable, Hadatie arrived there to observe and take care of them immediately. He said that he stayed at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport with his tools on 10th, ready to take care of the horse once they arrived. Three team members accompanied the horses onboard the Boeing 747 Freighter departing from the Liege Airport. The freighter boasts the load capacity of 200 tons and 10 containers, each of which housed 3 horses and corresponding water and forage. On the morning of 11th, horses came out of containers with good condition and get on carriers after walking for a while in the airport. Then they will receive training after quarantine and adaptation period to maintain competition ability.

35 tons of forages have been delivered to Wuhan Business University Equestrian Venue from Inner Mongolia on November 28th, which can meet the needs of these European sports horses for a month. The forages they eat are purchased from Belgium
