Wuhan Metro is about to raise the price of online tickets from February 1, according to the news published on the official website of Wuhan Development and Reform Commission.

The new pricing system continues to base on distance, starting from 2 yuan for the first 4 km, then an increase in the price step by step in terms of distance. It also adds firefighters into the group who could enjoy free access to the metro.

In addition, the primary and secondary students could benefit a ticket price up to 30 percent off and passengers using Wuhan Tong could enjoy a discount price of 10 percent off.

The new products, 1-Day, 3-Day and 7-Day unlimited-ride passes which cost 18 yuan, 45 and 90 yuan, respectively, could provide people the most economical travel experience within validity. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
