The 2019 Wuhan Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. on April 14. At the Optics Valley Tennis Center on March 19, the organizing committee released the latest event information including the designs of the medals for all finishers, the T-shirt, and the designated metro cards for the participants.

In blue, yellow, and silver, this year the medals for the Wuhan Marathon are full of Wuhan elements such as the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge and the East Lake Greenway. After the event, the organizing committee will also provide a free service for finishers, in which the medals can be engraved with commemorative words of their choice. This special touch makes the medals distinctive and collectible.

One of the highlights is the T-shirt for the Wuhan Marathon. The design on the front brings together a number of Wuhan elements. The pictures on the chest are outlined in the traditional Chinese character "Han" (汉), and the famous landmarks and scenic spots in Wuhan, such as the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Yellow Crane Tower, and the Tortoise Hill TV Tower are filled in, making the word "Han" (汉) vivid.

The Wuhan Marathon organizing committee once again joined hands with the Wuhan Metro Group and the Wuhan City Smart Card Co., Ltd. to launch the customized Wuhan Marathon memorial smart card to provide public transportation services to the participants.
