The exhibition "The Charm of Potteries and Soul of Porcelain," jointly put on by the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum and the Wuhan Museum, officially opened to the public on Mar. 23.

A total of 85 ceramic items produced between the Warring States Period (475 B.C.- 221 B.C.) and the Qing dynasty ( 1616- 1912) are on display. These ceramic pieces offer a glimpse into ancient Chinese pottery and porcelain.

These artifacts cover daily life, traditional Chinese tea culture, funeral rites, religious rituals and practices, and exchanges between China and foreign countries. The exhibition highlights ceramic funeral objects, tea wares of the Song dynasty, and Qing dynasty porcelain.

The free exhibition will last through June 20.
