On April 22, the promotional film for the 2019 World Stamp Exhibition, "World Stamp Exhibition - Meet in Wuhan," was shown on a large screen in Times Square in New York. Major landscapes in Wuhan like the Yellow Crane Tower are on display, inviting people to visit for this exhibition.
Times Square, the most bustling square of New York is known for its many Broadway theaters, cinemas and electronic billboards. It is one of those places that make New York a city that never sleeps.
According to survey data, about 300,000 people pass through Times Square every day, and it can reach 480,000 people at peak. On average, people stay there for over 80 minutes.
The video is about 30-second long and it showcases Wuhan to the world. Starting on April 22, it will be broadcast for 15 days. Global audiences and philatelists can learn more about the World Stamp Exhibition and Wuhan through it.
He said, "I felt homesick when seeing that video in a foreign country. As a Chinese person and an authentic Wuhan local, I feel proud that the world's highest level philatelic exhibition is being held in my hometown."
